After a successful fundraising dinner last year, we are ready to host again, and hope to get the community together. Save the date as we have more information to come soon- Saturday, February 29, 2020 inshaAllah!
On Saturday, February 23rd, despite the rainy and icy weather, our community gathered together at the West Madison Marriott hotel for the purpose of donating to our ongoing construction project.
Together our community donated $83,930 in checks, $11,651 in cash, and $19,736 in credit/debit totaling to $115,317 delivered on the day of the fundraiser. Additionally, another $24,000 worth of donations were made in the form of automatic bank withdrawals which will be paid over the next 12 months.
On top of the money received, over $100,000 was also pledged by various people both inside and outside our community who were unable to attend the fundraising event. This is a tremendous success, Alhamdulillah.
