Halaqas
Our weekly Halaqat provides an opportunity for anyone who wants to increase their knowledge about the deen, to come and learn.
The Prophet Muhammad Sallahu aalayhi wa salam said: "Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him." at-Tirmidhi
Please know that a Halaqah may be cancelled if we replace it with things like seminars, community cultural nights, etc.
Friday Fiqh:
Fiqh is the Islamic Jurisprudence (Islamic Law sourced from Islamic sources directly). Join us every Friday before Isha (after Ramadan) as we go over the rulings in Islam. Knowledge of the evidences/Islamic rulings towards our actions. Subject matters can include marriage, how we conduct business, social interactions with one another, etc.
Saturday Aqeedah:
The Aqeedah of the Muslim is the sound belief of the Muslim. The Aqeedah is presented with certainty and absent from any doubt. It is the foundational framework of the Muslim's faith. Everything from Belief in Allah, belief in his Angels, His books, His Prophets, the Day of Judgement, and believing The Divine Decree (Qadar). For the true believer, this belief is sound in his heart, they affirm it with their tongues, and act upon it with their limbs. Join us every Saturday as we go over the Principles of Aqeedah. Class is before Isha (after Ramadan).
Sunday QnA:
Living as a Muslim anywhere around the Globe can present it’s challenges for the layman/laywoman. Here at Masjid Us Sunnah we allow Sunday's to be an opportunity for ANYONE from the community to come and present ANY question they may have in regards to the deen. If you are a highschooler trying to make it through the school day, or an office worker, newly wed, struggling to understand certain aspects about your deen, you can bring any question Sunday evening and our Imam will do their best to answer.
